Seems well made and bright.
I bought this for my 06 Jetta to replace a license plate light that burned out. The lens on this one seemed really well made and had a checkered pattern to break up the light pattern and spread it over the plate. Would buy again.

Doesn't work
It's supposed to work on my mk5 Jetta but they don't light up and the fitment seems slightly off. Crappy part, better off just getting an LED bulb

sets off the dash light indicating a burned out bulb
easy to install, crazy bright, but- sets off the "burned out light" symbol on the dash when the lights are turned on. IMO not worth it.
