The reviews stated that this will only work for a Commericial garage. I beg to differ. If you know how to work with electrical circuits you can configure to use for an residential door.

solid design and build. with small modification on inside I was able to make it a "three push button normally open" switch to control my electric gate motor.

Be aware that the stop button is a momentary contact that is normally closed. The open and close are normally open buttons. This did not work with my Viking gate that has the necessary 4 wires. I could open or close the gate but not stop it. This should have been mentioned in the listing or a schematic provided as a picture.

used for opening a gate in a community. works fine. lasted about 3 years in a high humidity environment. replaced with the exact same one. for the price it's hard to beat.

I have purchased these in the past. I found them just as reliable as those included with Liftmaster operators, they may even be the same. I like to keep a few on hand just in case a customer calls and says their operator will not open or will not close. I would purchase again.

I bought this to replace a old one that went bad. it works fine but you have to wiggle the buttons in order for it to work. the contacts are not the greatest.

Solid product. I think it will last. Looks good.
