JulboFor Men Ultimate Sunglasses

Very happy with the glasses - I tend not to treat them well - throwing them in my bike helmet till I ride again - and they have been rock solid. For the money an excellent value.

These sunglasses are really a pro set for outdoor activity in many different lighting conditions. I have the Reactive 0-3 black pair. I like that I can put them on in my house when I am getting ready for a run and then walk out and have sunglasses a few minutes later. I have used these in during the day and wore them all the way to when it got dark. Pretty neat.These are reactive, but it does take a few minutes for the glasses to adjust to the lighting conditions. They are not instant and I have seen a claim that mentions 20 seconds, but I do not believe they adjust that quick. They may start to adjust in 20 seconds, but they don't fully transition in that time. bright sun and so on, these will not instantly adjust.So far in the winter, the lenses seem to be a hair on the lighter side when they adjust, but I never feel that they are too light. It is one of those things where you wish they were a hair darker, but are okay with them. The positive to this is that it really helps you see very clearly the terrain that you are running in.The other interesting part is that the shade when they are darker is still very clear. I don't know how to explain it, but they help you from not needing to squint, but they seem pretty translucent still. These are not glasses that you want to use to check people out. Your eyes are very visible.One last comment on the lenses. They have very good clarity. I have all sorts of sunglasses from a wide range of producers. Maui Jim's are my favorite largely due to the clarity of the lenses. These are pretty close to Maui Jim polycarbonate lenses, but not the glass lenses. I was pleasantly surprised.Overall comfort is good. I dialed in some areas of the arms and the nose bridge. I have worn these for hours and have been fine with the comfort. They grip well and feel light on the face without moving. No complaints.These are pretty serious business sunglasses that look the part for doing athletics. When they are fully clear, they look like safety glasses. No joke. These are not the pair you wear to an outdoor wedding.One minor nit is that I hate the case that they give you. For $230 sunglasses, they could give a real case that would protect these. The case has a hard top and bottom and is soft around the middle. Not sure what the point is. Also, I am pretty sure that the zipper will come off one day. It feels as cheap as they come.For what I am using these for, which is running in a mix of woods and outside in direct light, I am very happy with these glasses overall. I have used these in full sun, shade, dark cloudy and at dusk and I was always able to see fine. They have dialed in the reactive part very well to provide protection but also visibility. The lenses are really good and have good clarity.
