IntexEnergy Efficient Spa Cover

Spent a good sum on this as an investment to replace existing cover but within 1 week small tear which after 3 weeks and infrequent use is now a huge rip. Happy to discuss with supplier if you want to contact me but very disappointed, especially given the price paid.

As others have reported the cover tears easily where the sides join together, even when handled very carefully.You can see by simply looking at the seam that it will tear, the material is only 1 to 2mm thick here - how did this product get signed off as fit for purpose - do Intex have no quality control?The original cover is no longer available, so I was forced into buying this expensive option - which would not be so bad if it was robust enough to be used. Very disappointing - supplier should withdraw this product until design is rectified.

Die Energiesparabdeckung macht genau was sie soll. Selbst bei - 7°C verliert der Whirlpool nur 6-8° in 16h ohne betrieb. Sobald der Whirlpool eingeschaltet ist geht es schneller den wieder hochzuheizen. Die Ersparnisse im bezug auf den Stromverbrauch kann ich noch nicht bestimmen aber da der Pool nicht mehr so viel Wärme verliert wird sich das schon rechnen.Ich habe aber nicht alle mitgelieferten teile verwendet da ich die Originale Abdeckung des Whirlpools noch hatte. Aber die abdeckung passt auch darüber sodass es noch einen besseren schutz gegen Wärmeverlust gibt.
