Hinoki Japanese Cypress Wood Cutting Board - Large, Ultra Thin

Very light weight, convenient size for everyday chopping for two people. Sharp knives cut a bit into board from time to time, but it is not a functional problem.

I really l really love this cutting board. The Japanese Cypress is the perfect medium for a cutting surface. I am planning on replacing all my cutting boards with these. My knives stay sharper longer and the boards come with excellent instructions for cleaning and sanitizing. I highly recommend these.

Had this for not even a full week. Used as instructed. It lives vertically in the countertop dish rack for constant drying. Sadly, there's already visible warping along the splined edge (short side). Otherwise it works great, soft on the knives, super lightweight, and has a nice cedar fragrance.

What a disappointment!!! On just 2nd day of use, inspected the ends just to make sure everything is what it is supposed to look like. Noticed wood separating on one vertical end of board. I'm too old to cry but that's how I felt. Boo Hoo!

Absolutely my favorite. Smells nice, is light to handle. Perfect size. Wonderfully made.
