These secateurs by Spear & Jackson are easy to use and are extremely sharp, they are great for cutting dense branches. The only little gripe I have is the locking mechanism that holds the blades shut after use, the mechanism often pops open on its own, however I wouldn't say it's a massive problem. I would recommend.

This is my second pair of these, last pair stayed sharp for about 8 years. I think you can sharpen them. Anyway after helping a friend out with her willow harvest I thought I could use a new pair. Will try and sharpen old ones too, only they always refused to stay locked shut which was a bit annoying. The new ones stay shut. Really good quality, cut probably far too big stuff with it too, but keeps going. Love them.

Good and sharp. Look like they are built to last. Recommended. Though I shall probably put them down somewhere on the allotment and find them a year later as I do with all my seceteurs....

Good quality Secateurs, they cut through twigs and roses stems like a knife through butter. Well worth the price, clean up well and are easy on the hands 5 Star Product.
