I bought this router/extender because of the ratings. We needed another router to help cover the rooms upstairs that our router couldn't extend to. Much to my disappointment of my router, it doesn't extend as far as my past routers did. I tried using my TP Link router as an extender which it allows but doing so made me extremely frustrated with having to change so many settings and it still didn't work. The instructions were hard to understand. Reviews for the ACLUXS said it was very easy to use so I bought it. There are two sets of instructions which generally say the same thing but the one I used left a step out. I was able to get past it though and have the extender immediately work. It was easy too. Plug it in, go to the address provided, change the address and options for it to extend the wifi and I was done. It took me maybe five minutes because of the part it left out. I went back to double check too.This thing extends better than my router downstairs to my office. I get full signal in there with it but for some reason I have a hard time getting full bars in my office from my router and it's only maybe 15 feet away. This extender is extending all over the house. I might need to use it as my only router if it's this good.

So far so good.I set this up as a repeater to fill a dead space in my house. The current wireless is not terrible but the fire stick drops out from time to time. Compared to the signal from my router the device gives me 1 1/2 better signal strength (bars) according to the the meter on the fire stick if it is to be believed. The setup was easy and I followed some of the instructions provided in the comments here.1) Plug the unit in the wall.2) Fire up a laptop or wireless computer3) Search for "wireless N" in the list of available networks and connect4) Once connected without internet enter the URL in your browser [...] and hit enter and sign into the device, Username and Password is "admin"5) Once you are at the homepage select Repeater in the upper left corner. It will locate all of the available networks. Select your network, select your preferred SSID and enter your network password and click save or enter.6) the device will then reboot. Once it hits 100% your are done.Relocate the device and test it out. You will need to sign into the device with network password.

I have tried to use this as an extender to bring wifi signal to my whole house. I have reset the extender multiple times including doing a full restart and set up of the device. It works for a day or two then when devices try to connect to it, it says it can't access the internet even though my devices can connect to the main router. Can't seem to get the device to work consistently.Update:Costumer service was nice, they sent me another one to try. Had the same problems as the last one so I asked for a refund. They were quick in completing that. I don't have much good to say about the product but at least it wasn't a hassle to get my money back.

Don't buy it - Please do your research and read reviews before buying anything online. Pay more attention to those that are complaining about a product. Their​ reason might help you. I bought this in June and did not get to use until last week. The product is not stable and I will not advise my enemy to buy it. Your connection last for a few hours and you have to reset the device and set up all over again to use it. I cannot return it now so it is going to the garbage.

This is the second wifi extender I bought. The other one was bought 3 years ago cost me $90. It had a problem of Internet connection dropped or disconnected periodically. Also it was bulky and needed to find a shelf space to install it. The Acluxs wireless is space safer, conveniently plugged in any wall power without a wire hanging. The wifi signal is very stable when I installed it at opposite corner from the router location of my 4 bedrooms home. The installation is simple and easy for a non-IT guy like me. The instruction manual come with the package is somewhat confusing. Jay, the manufacturer sent me an appropriate installation guides via email after I asked Amazon for help. Only took me 10 minutes to set it up. Now I have strong wifi signal everywhere at home.

I chose this item based on the excellent reviews it received. Now I'm wondering if the reviews were planted by the manufacturers This is a complete and useless piece of garbage!! When I received it, I spent the next 3 hours trying to install it but I could never get it to work. It powered up but I could not get it to connect online. The instructions were absolutely useless and were obviously written by someone who is not that familiar with the English language. I put way too much effort into getting it going and it was definitely not worth the effort. I packed it back up and sent it back the next morning. Thanks to Amazon, I will get a full refund including shipping costs.

Has to be unplugged and plugged back in daily or the server name disappears from my wifi list. The instructions are god awful, but once you figure them out they do work. Product would get 5 stars, but i find it ridiculous that it needs to be powered on and off every single day to broadcast a proper signal.

Easy to setup with 4 seperate modes for use. I used mine as a range extender for my Wi-Fi. The first product that actually worked as a range extender, but it does everything else you would need. IP address clearly stated on back for easy setup. Wish more products worked this well. Only wish it was made in the USA, but electronics are never made here otherwise I would have to buy those.
