I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!
I love Company very much! My favorite Sondheim Musical and Musical in general! I has a wonderful score! The only song it does not have is "Tick Tock." Originally I was gonna only get the vocal score but I learned this version included cut songs from the show including "The Wedding is Off." which I've only heard in an audio of Sondheim singing it for producers. And a bit from Sondheim on Sondheim. The original piano/vocal arrangement is beautiful! I might get the vocal score soon. I'm still happy with this version. It does have all the songs in original keys from the 1970 version! This version also includes "Marry me a little" the key is in B major just so you know. I was hoping it was the key that was used in the 2006 John Doyle Production (the one with Raul Esparza). This version is from the 1995 Revival with Boyd Gaines. And it includes Happily ever After and Multitudes of Amys which are my favorite cut songs! I actually already had both songs but still its good to have this book. I definitely recommend this version so much. Even after comparing with the 25th anniversary vocal selection, I love this one so much! This is still a wonderful book for not just Sondheim fans but also musical nerds like me!

A Great Collection of Songs From Sondheim's Classic Musical
I am a huge fan of Sondheim, and COMPANY is by far my favorite musical. It's got a great, wide-ranging collection of songs about love, relationships, and searching for a connection, all crafted with Sondheim's signature wit and unique perspective and sound. My favorite is the classic "Ladies Who Lunch" originated by Elaine Stritch, though Barbara Walsh's rendition in the revival with Raul Esparza took my breath away. It's a sharp little number that's cutting and a little mean-spirited, but hiding more than a twinge of regret underneath. "Getting Married Today" is a fun little number, if you can master the breakneck speed! Carol Burnett did an amazing version of this on a TV special - if you can find the video it's worth watching! It really captures all of the sweeping emotions you can feel when preparing for "the biggest day of your life" and all of the hype and stress that's built up around what should be a joyous celebration. "The Little Things You Do Together" is classic Sondheim quirkiness at it's best (Barbara Walsh's deadpan delivery while playing the triangle gets me every time!). Another favorite is "Marry Me A Little" that perfectly catches the longing for connection with a fear of losing one's individuality and freedom in a relationship. This collection contains 17 songs total, and most if not all would make great audition songs as well as just being a fun bunch of songs to sing at home.

Great music, but not in official keys from the musical
Great music from a great musical! Beware the songs aren't in the same key as the official score of the musical.
