Cut as advertised
I just completed my SS 3/16in 1-19 cable railing. 24 runs of 33-ft. A couple of redo's. These cutters worked beauty.

used for 3/16" galvanized cable very sharp cut with no damage or splaying of cable end. Fits easily into aluminum crimping ferrules.

Definitely a cut above the rest
Excellent quality and cuts metal rope cleanly every time. Great bit of kit and worth spending a bit more money for something that works as well as these do. Very happy with these cutters :-))

Abysmal finish
I try to stick to the adage buy cheap buy twice, so went for the best cable cutters I could find for my requirements. I look after my tools and hope they will outlive me but the received example left much to be desired in terms of finish, and looked like they had already lived a hard life. Not sure if this is normal, but for the money, I expect these to be inspected and in better order than what I have here. Disappointing initiation to the brand.
