Makita800982 D35405 Pt Acc Holesaw, 30 Mm Diameter

Makita holesaws are pretty good, but this one lacks the basic ability to cut a hole the size it should, which is kinda the whole (!) point. It's not even wrong because it's imperial, as the imperial size marked is bigger. This 30mm cutter makes a nice hole just bigger than 29mm. Which is great if you don't need a 30mm hole, but then wouldn't you have bought a 29mm cutter.......? Anybody need some 29mm holes, I have a bunch lying around now - free for collection.

We use these in work on hardwood which can dull normal bits quickly. These hole saws destroy almost anything including metal. If you need to get through almost any material quickly and can use this geometry don't waste your time, just buy them. Remember you will need an arbour too which isn't included.

I got the 30mm for arcade button holes in stuff. I also got ( Makita D-17170 Arbour, Multi-Colour ) that you need to fix it to a drill.A wonderful hole and the buttons fit perfectly.
