These blades fill a niche -- a safe blade to shave without shaving cream
Maybe other men can relate to this: Occasionally, I'll be at work and a facial hair starts to be bothersome, or perhaps I didn't shave today and want to clean up a bit... *without* finding a bathroom and using shaving cream, meaning at my desk. These Dorco blades are sharp enough to shave without shaving cream, but not so sharp you'll cut yourself. Try that with a Gillette Mach3 or other 3-blade razor. I have never cut myself with a Dorco blade, again, without even shaving cream. Made in USA is preferred, but I at least Dorco is S. Korean and not Chinese (like to buy from democracies whenever possible!).How did I discover these blades? I got a complimentary razor from a hotel once and liked it and wanted to get more, but didn't see any identifying brand. The razor was replaceable and the handle extra long.... longer than any razor I've ever had (which I like). I was determined through web surfing to find the make and it turned out to be Dorco, and these replacement razors fit that razor handle. See the pic.

Waste of Money
I love Dorco blades, except this one. The blade does not pivot and the shave was not smooth. I was comparing it to the Dorco two blade cartridge that I use in another handle. I would not waste my money with this disposable razor but put a few dollars more and get the Dorco Pace 11 disposable razor instead. The Pace 11 will give you a smoother shave and the blade pivots. You get 30 razors for around fifteen dollars . I got seven good shaves out of a single Pace 11 razor.

Not worth the low price
No pivot, caused a lot of cuts and irritation, 2 sets of cartridges showed signs of corrosion within a few days.

Lightweight handle uses Atra twin blade cartridges
Some time ago, I had purchased 100 Atra twin blades cheaply. Then my Atra handle broke after 25 years of use. I could not find new Atra handles for my supply of blades, but this alternative popped up on Amazon. The Dorco handle is very light, almost like a disposable unit. The blades slide in from the side of the handle head, instead of being gripped by spring-loaded "fingers" found on the Atra handle. All in all, a good Atra sub for the multi-year supply of blades that I have. Not as heavy and solid as the Atra, but quite serviceable.

Garbage. Threw them away after one use.
The blade must be made of grade Z steel. I cut myself because it did not move easily over my face. Nor did it provide a close shave. The handle comes without a blade attached and I had some difficulty sliding a blade onto the handle. If the package has attachment directions explaining which side of the blade should be pointing up I missed them. I had to remove and reattach the blade because I guessed wrong, which was harder than I thought as they don't slip on and off the handle easily. I disliked it so much I threw it away after one use--and to avoid cutting myself again do their their inferior performance. A Gillette Track II imitation they are not.
