The unit has lots of desirable features at a good price point, especially the humistat control that allows the unit to keep a specific humidity level in the room. This feature was the main reason we bought this model. The night-light is also a nice bonus. For the short amount of time it was functioning, the humidity control feature worked great.Unfortunately, the quality of the unit is just not up to par and it is now broken and unusable after only two days of operation. A very thin, flimsly plastic ring that holds the spring-loaded gasket closed snapped off. It was never dropped or put on incorrectly. This happened from gently placing it on the base only a few times. It makes a mess of water all over the place now and won't start humidifying because it doesn't detect it on the base correctly.I'd also add that it is not intuitive at all to set a humidity level. The instructions are not clear. For example, they say to "press auto within three seconds" to set the humidity level. I read that to mean within three seconds of it powering on. They actually mean to hold it for 3 seconds, which would be fine but that's not correct either. In reality, you have to hold it for twice that amount of time (5-6 seconds). I almost returned it because I thought the auto button was defective.The noise level of the unit is also a bit disappointing. It's not loud, but it is definitely noticable enough to be irritating. We have a different unit in another room that is much quieter.This really *could* have been a good unit if the plastic parts were made better. I will be returning it for a refund and will find a different model.

The product worked alright from the beginning, but it makes an obnoxious bubbling/gulping sound that can jar you awake as the lower tank refills. Now 2 months into owning it and under a month after the return window, it makes a inconsistent whirring sound that is much louder than the advertised decibel rating. The randomness of the noise makes it very difficult to sleep while the product is in use.The centre tube of the tank is difficult to clean and can get deposits of calcium.It is nice as a nightlight but I will be contacting the company to complain about it’s current performance.

I personally love the babymoov hygro plus. After reading all the negative reviews, I decided to still buy it. I received a working device, no broken parts. And the noise level is very reasonable. Occasionally there would be water bubbling sounds, but I only notice this when I turn the humidity up higher, anything under 60% and this doesn't happen. I love the auto feature, I just wish the buttons were more senetive. Sometimes it takes a few mins to set it which is a bit annoying. But doesn't deserve to lose a star for it. Over all I love the product. Oh! And it also tells you the temperature of the room, very helpful. I wish there was a warming feature, but if there was... It would prob cost a lot more.

I’ve been using this product since February 2019 and loved everything about it. It’s been in my daughters nursery and I love how easy it is to clean, the night light and humidity control. Unfortunately last night as was putting my daughter to sleep, the humidifier started making flickering sounds and turned off. It then continued with the loud flickering sounds and kept turning on and off. I quickly unplugged the unit as I was afraid it would start a fire. I’m so disappointed because I loved this humidifier so much and even recommended it to friends. I would expect this from a cheap product but at 100$ I expected it to last longer then a couple months... I’ve contacted the manufacturer and will update my review if they actually help me out.

This is good humidifier but as mentioned in another review, it is quite noisy for a humidifier of this this type with sounds of gargling and sounds of splashing water happening in the base of the machine. I have a “Pure Enruchment” humidifier is extremely quiet compared to the Babymoov. The reason, I bought the Babymoov was because it had a digital control of the percentage of room humidity and a timer which the “Pure Enrichment” did not have. I wear ear plugs when using the Babymoov as the noisiness of it can keep me awake. However the digital humidity adjustment and timer is great as the humidy level will stay at at constant level at all times so that humidity level is as perfect as I want it.
