I use this table for doing crossword puzzles and for diamond embroidery crafts. It's excellent for storing my craft supplies and pens. I rarely use the legs and just place the folded desk on my lap however the leg room measures 16" which is plenty even for a larger person like myself. It's very easy to store when not in use. .

This lap desk isn't what I expected & it's very cheap plastic but so far is fine for adult coloring. But do not buy if you need for your laptop! It'll slide right off due to the plastic. My opinion is that it's very cheaply made & priced way too high~should be more like $10. The "legs" fold under VERY easy, in fact the left leg buckled with just a little pressure from me as I was coloring. I wish I'd just bought one of the wooden lap desks! I NEVER advise anyone to buy this one.***EDIT***I've had a few weeks to use this product & have changed my mind~I love it. I use it for my coloring & it's perfect. I even took it outside on a rare nice day & was able to color for 4 hrs because I had this desk and my back didn't hurt. I use it daily. I still wouldn't use for a laptop due to slippery surface. And I wish the inside compartments were just 1 big instead of divided. Can't really hold what I need which is my colored pencils in their case. Also, the legs are becoming "loose" meaning they buckle down easy~sometimes while coloring, not good. Still believe it should be cheaper~about $15.

I bought these for my college age girls to use for studying at home. I love the storage space underneath the top, I added some surprise school supplies for them when I gave it to them. This lap desk is sturdy and folds up nicely for storage. I am seriously giving thought to purchasing a 3rd on for my youngest daughter to do her homework on as well.

Bought this for my grandsons Birthday.I glued lego mats to top and inside. He hasn't received it yet but I think it will be a great take along desk.

So far it's working great! I had to get a lap desk for my office when my company moved to our own building and took some of our furniture out. I thought it might be too flimsy, but it's pretty sturdy and super easy for my littlest clients to open and close up.

This is what I needed. A perfect little table for studying or working on paperwork from you couch, chair, bed... The legs snap down easily and stay up until snapped back down. Folds flat so I was able to take it in my luggage on a recent trip. The storage area is nice to have when moving from place to place.

My kids love using this for their homework, especially if they don't feel like working at an actual desk or table, and I especially enjoy the storage space inside--if I don't have time to finish dealing with some papers, I love being able to open the lid, throw everything in so that it wouldn't make the area seem untidy, and I'll pull it out whenever I'm ready to get to it again.

I bought this product because I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and can't stand anything on my knees so this has been really helpful because I can do my crafts without the pressure of anything on my knees and at when I have finished I can store it away

Can keep the things for the craft project I'm woring on inside. Chuck it in a bag and I still have my stuff and a small work table. If your putting it over your legs on the sofa make sure u have skinny legs
