Although the set looks nice when on, it is uncomfortable when you are trying to sleep. The lace edging/embroidery is quite stiff and scrapes against your arms or neck. Would have liked some matching curtains to go with it, but couldn't get any. White shows every tiny mark.

I can’t comment on softness and comfort as I haven’t used the pillow cases yet. I have bought them to use with our very plain, brushed cotton duvet set. They are however, very pretty and expensive looking and I’m very happy I purchased them.
