I need more!
I was initially skeptical of these, since I recently returned to riding after an absence of 10 years and all my breeches are cotton with leather patches. My other concern was sizing, as I've also gained weight in my time away from the horses. But I have to say I love these tights! They are breathable in our alabama humidity and lightweight. You don't feel weighed down or twisted once you start sweating in them, very breathable and the moisture wicks away. Sizing did have me concerned as I'm 5'7" and 200lb but I'm more muscular ( where some of the weight comes from) I'm more hippy with tummy and a bit of thigh. I usually am a size 10/12. I ordered the Large and they fit fine the high rise of the tights is great, they didn't rolled down and stayed where they needed to be. I rode in my close contact and dressage saddle and no weird rubs. They do look flattering. The silicon leg patch does allow you to put your leg on and not get stuck. The only drawback I've dealt with is they can be a little 'slippy' in the seat area. I wish they made these in a full seat and they would be the perfect breech for me. I will be ordering more

So Far So Good
So far so good. I was nervous about the negative reviews, but the price was right and I just really needed something more lightweight. I tried my Kerrits Flow Rise in the heat but they still felt really oppressive. I decided to give these a try. I ordered a medium. For reference I am 5'5", 137lbs, usually wear a size 2-4 dress or 4-6 pants. The mediums work well for me, I don't feel like a sausage trying to burst its casing. They are pretty long and just a tiny bit bunchy around the knees because of this. They come up almost to my belly button, higher than any of my other breeches, so I'm not sure about the review stating that they are low-rise... Maybe that was a sizing issue. Although the photo shows what looks to be a suede-like knee patch, my navy pair came with tiny rubber grippers in the knee patch. I don't really mind because I wasn't expecting a lot of grip from these in the first place, but just pointing it out. I wore them today for a half hour lesson outside in 90 degrees. I could feel the breeze coming through and it was pretty nice. However, the navy was dark enough, nothing was visible underneath. Honestly for me they are the only way of surviving this heat. Assuming they stay nice for the next few lessons, I will definitely buy at least one more pair for the summer.

you get what you pay for, True to size!
These tights were a bit scratchy at the start. My daughter suggested to wash them a few times before wearing to soften up the stitching a bit and it worked. Not the best quality around but is good enough for the price. The size is True to Size. My daughter is about 5'3" and slim. After reading reading the reviews and decided to get the medium. Big mistake! The tights are quite true to size and the M was way too loose on her. Ended up with an adult XS. If you are slim build can even go down a size.

Great Cooling Material, But Pretty Ugly
I bought these for the hot and humid SE summers. I followed other reviewers’ advice to order a size larger, as they run small... I did not find that to be the case. I ordered a large instead of medium and they are definitely too big. Oh well... I’m too lazy to return for the correct size. That said, these might be the absolute least flattering pants I’ve ever worn. They definitely do not leave my personal barn EVER... but they are nice and cool when the weather is hot and humid. So if that’s the only important thing to you, then you will probably be very happy with these riding tights.

Super stretchy, brown color is not see through!
A friend recommended these riding leggings/tights to me for pregnancy (which if you want to do talk to your obstetrics doctor and of course be very careful). I ordered a size up. They are very stretchy and comfortable. There are little rubberized chevrons where the knee patch would be. At first I thought these would disintegrate in the wash but they’ve held up through many wash cycles. I wash them inside out and hang dry. There is a little key pocket on the inside (front right). Haven’t noticed the brown colored tights be see through but I would recommend seamless underwear to avoid panty lines. To quote Mean Girls: “these are the only pants that fit me right now!”

Affordable, Comfortable, Quality Breeches
This is my second pair of these schooling tights and I absolutely LOVE them. I ordered the black pair a few months back and have worn them religiously. I have 2 other Tuffrider pair of cotton schooling breeches, but one has started coming apart and the other is too big despite being the same size and just fits weird. I've been searching for another brand for quite some time, but the hefty price tags always kept me from ordering anything. After getting frustrated I came back to these. I was nervous about ordering them because they're fairly thin. The black pair are fine, but I figured a lighter color might be see through. I bit the bullet and ordered the khaki and they are FANTASTIC. They fit perfectly, feel really comfortable on, and despite being thin, there's no see through and no crazy panty lines. They make my butt look great too! I am so impressed with these, that I am going to order a couple more colors. You can't beat the price and I'm VERY happy with the quality. I wash and wear my black ones 5 days a week and they still look as good as the day I bought them.

Disappointed
Unfortunately they started falling apart after my first ride.... they are super nice looking, fit well, and are comfy! unfortunately the pair I received threading fell apart on sides and waist after going riding for an hour.

Don’t buy!!
Have to warn other potential buyers!! Ordered a ladies medium. Turned out to be about the size of a girls 10-12. or maybe 14-16. Thinking this is just defective junk. Tags said proper size, so...Thank goodness a friend bought them off me for her very small 11 year old to wear.

Great breeches.
Bought safari colour. Great warm weather breeches. Fabric is light, colour is nice. Size small fits a 5' 1" female, a little over 100 lbs with approx 27" waist just fine.

For slightly larger builds - schooling tights
Very comfortable well priced too long time to get here....mix up on address - have to give a physical address not a rural rout number. Good name in equestrian wear.

Wrong size sent, cannot return without a printer.
These would have been lovely, as they are stretchy, grippy and very lightweight. That being said I ordered a womens medium and received a tiny pair of childrens breeches (clearly marked childrens on the label).
