Nice and heavy sounds great

Looks good but thankfully another review explained how to fix the tilting issue. It wont rest correctly unless you use a metal grinder to get rid of the excess metal on the top piece above the bell in 3 spots. The center of it isnt flat and doesnt lay flat on top of the bell. And the two ends that rest in the stirrups have a line of metal on the bottom that needs ground down so theyre smooth. Then it will sit perfect.

The bell did not hang level, making it hard to ring. Pulling the rope hard would allow it to ring, but results in the bell falling off the support. A heavy bell falling off the pole is not safe, so I returned it.

Great bell for the money. You won’t go wrong with the purchase

The bell arrived, well-packed, and in a timely manner. Assembly was very easy, the instructions were hardly necessary. Although not necessary, I filed away a few rough casting areas on the cradle/carrier interface to provide a smooth interface. Additionally, I painted the raised trim decoration on the bell surface, adding a bit of wimsy! Before gifting, I’ll brush-in a few roses to fill out the colour.I would recommend fitting the cradle separately during the installation process, as the bell itself is rather hefty!You’re wondering how the bell sounds? Well, it produces more of a ringing ‘CLANG!’ than a dainty ring. Not unpleasant, but certainly not an ‘angel gets her wings’ tinkle!All in All, well worth your consideration!
