Update JulyBought in March 2024 and the hinge for standing up the iPad snapped. I cannot get a replacement through Amazon. I cannot register with Zagg as I cannot find the product on their website. Decided to buy a replacement and Amazon sent me one with backplate that had the round not square hole for the camera (used the buy again link) so exactly the same product number. Got a refund so trying for a third time. It is still a great idea and works well. I like the keyboard and it’s easy to use once you learn how to link it to the iPad. It’s cheap and if the new one is the wrong case again I will just buy a protective case and use the keyboard on its own.Original post MarchI have just received this keyboard for my IPad Pro. When it arrived I was extremely surprised at the weight of the package and very impressed with the way it was packaged. For the price I paid I was actually expecting it in a clear plastic bag, possibly encased in a flimsy cardboard wrapper. To my surprise it was beautiful packed in box with magnetic hinge that you would expect from a much more expensive product. I must admit it took a few attempts to fit my iPad into its cover, now it fits perfectly and everythis is of vey high quality especially the built in stand, making the iPad angle easily adjusted. I do have hand issues so it was nice of them to have a sight indent on the centre of the stand so it is easier to access when it has been folded flat.The keyboard was difficult to pair the my iPad, this was my fault. Even though I read the instruction leaflet numerous times I just could not get the keyboard to link to Bluetooth. My mistake was thinking that I should hold the on button, when I needed to press one of the two buttons with the Bluetooth symbol. Then the keyboard linked instantly.I am using the keyboard to write this review. The keyboard itself has a nice feel, the keys are smooth to use. I have not detected too much of a lag between pressing a key and it appearing onto the screen. Considering I used to be a very fast touch typist this is a great plus. I have not found the pound sign key yet, but hopefully it’s hidden on one of the shortcuts, but if it create a document that needs this I will just need to adjust it manually on my iPad not a big problem. The only issue that I have is the weight. This keyboard is heavy and did not come with a charging cable, the keyboard arrived with no charge so it was a little frustrating waiting to charge the keyboard before I could play with my nose toy.I initially chose this keyboard over the others online because it had a feature for my Apple Pencil and of course the very cheap price.So far I am definitely enjoying the experience of using this new keyboard and will be recommend to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the official apple products.

Nach Nachfrage für mein IPad Pro 11 2020 hatte ich mir das Produkt bestellt und es wurde mir vom Händler zugesichert das es paßt. Zum einen ist der Ausschnitt der Kamera nur für die 1.ste Generation, womit ich vielleicht noch hätte leben können. Aber nach dem zehnten Versuch die Tastatur über Bluetooth zu verbinden habe ich dann aufgegeben. Zuletzt bleibt noch erwähnt das die Tastatur eine QWERY und keine QWERTZ ist. Grundsätzlich finde ich die Halterung mit seiner Verstellung prima , was ich für mein iPad vermisse den keiner bietet es so an wie bei Zagg , aber dafür soviel Geld zu bezahlen ,geht gar nicht, zumal der Rest nicht funktioniert .Fazit , abändern das die große Linse für das IPad 2020 paßt , eine Tastatur in QWERTZ die bei der ersten Verbindung funktioniert und ich würde sie bestellen.

I wanted a tougher case than the genuine apple one and also wanted one that allowed the screen to free stand. When you add backlit keys this is the only case that you need. Fully charged the keyboard (usb c) and after 1 weeks solid use I have around 80% battery life left. Short of the advertised 2 months but at least its not leeching power from my iPad like the Smart Cover. No significant delay in the typing experience and the shortcut keys are handy. It adds heft but its a military grade tough case, get over yourselves. Nice rubberised finishes and a quality feel to all surfaces, but the kickstand is the thing that sets this above all others. It’s stiff and is super adjustable, then folds into the case and is pretty unobtrusive. Love it.

Great product until the hinges broke. Screen can no longer stand upright". Not as rugged as it is billed to be. A pity as otherwise this is a great idea.Update:I have managed to contact Zagg and a no quibble replacement is on the way. Great support and prompt responses once the website was sorted out. Thank you Zagg team!
