Low-quality, poor design, not made in N. America
I purchased an open-box from Amazon Whse. The hasp came detached from the box; it looked like all the spot welds failed and it was not passed through from the back. Grainger/Zoro’s Westward brand jobsite boxes are actually manufactured by Durham in Mexico- real powder-coating, thicker steel, and a hasp that will never fall off and at half the price of this.

Arrived damaged out of the box
No apparent damage to factory shipping box, interior Styrofoam, or plastic wrapping makes me believe this occurred at the factory and they just said "send it". I have trusted knaack as a go to brand for mobile tool storage and shipping and had I known that this would be a cheap low quality Chinese built box for $250 I probably would have considered a different product. I work remotely and needed a new box so between shipping times and options I won't be returning it. Bent the latch back to intended position but can tell its ultimately now weaker and will probably break off at some point. I would say I became complacent in expecting a high quality product for the price I paid, and from a brand I trusted.
