I have been looking for years to find a pair of long boots that fit my wide calves. Even when I measured and ordered the x-wide I didn’t get my hopes up.I was thrilled when these arrived - 1 week earlier than expected delivery date - they fit with room for thick socks. I love them.I have put in my own insole for added comfort but for the price I am very impressed.

I ordered these back at the beginning of autumn but wanted to wait and see how they fare before reviewing. They are brilliant. An excellent fit for my wide calves and they have lasted very well so far. I wear these 3-4 times a week on dog walks over a muddy and stony common. They don't let any water in and very comfy. Very very happy with these for the price.

I ordered these boots based on two things: the way they looked and the large number of positive reviews, the boots look amazing, I've had boots like these before but they weren't a patch on these they are simply stunning! I'll update my review once I've put them through their paces but just by the feel alone they are magnificent!

I am SO thankful for these boots. Finally!!!! After already purchasing a few pairs directly from equestrian websites that turned up and were SO tight on my calves whilst promising to fit up to 45cms - they didn’t. One pair I wore for an hour and they sliced my heels open because they were soo poorly fitting.These babies turned up (4 days earlier than I was told... even better) and they fit like a glove. Perfect. Admittedly I purchased extra treatment spray as mixed reviews on the waterproof side of things.... but time will tell. But the fit I am so happy with. Plus they’re a gorgeous colour, well packaged and a superb fit. Thank you.

Super fit for those with larger calves. I got the 8 XW and the 7XW for my sister for her birthday last November and she absolutely loves them (she ended up sizing up as she wears thicker socks). We are dog walkers and she wears them for work daily. A little stiff at the start but after a couple of wears they are perfect fit. She wears them instead of wellies as she can’t find any that fit her calf size. But these boots with proper drying and regular waxing, they have so far lasted perfectly for walking up to 6 miles a day, so well that I’ve just ordered a second pair for my mum!

I bought these boots for the wife.Its the 3rd pair and she loves them.I have bought her many types of boots and these have been the best, perfect fit, comfortable.She wears them everyday in all types of weather.I bought them for use at the stables where she gets them wet and muddy and never had a problem with leaks.Never complained about cold feet.A good price for the style of boots as I have spent a lot more and never had the quality and never lasted as my wife destroys boots.Bought this pair as she wanted a pair just for going out.Over all well worth the money.Happy wife happy life

Gorgeous boots but sadly too big for me. Not really hassle free returns when you have to pay to return them. Was going to try a smaller size but don’t want to have to pay return postage again if they don’t fit. Shame

Good points: fit around calvesBad points: damp getting in about the join between the leather and the sole, stitching coming undone at the back of the boot.If you want something to look like an outdoor yard boot, these are great. If you actually want a yard boot or something that is up to being used daily as an outdoor boot, avoid.I had really high hopes, and loved them for the first few days, but sadly the poor quality is now showing and I feel they were an expensive purchase for a few weeks of use. Back to looking for a long term boot now as I doubt they will last till Christmas.
