Q: Why ks the green one so more expensive?

not sure but maybe you can use it to store your money?

Q: I need an insulated bag that will fit an 8.5 x 11 Pyrex dish. I believe this is too small . Can you please confirm?

Since the design of the bag allows you to carry the bag in both horizontal as well vertical positions (the straps configure easily to each position) your dish will both fit and can be carried horizontially keeping food safe. I carried an 11x13 casserole easily to a recent dinner. I have used my bags to carry both hot and cold dishes. Love'em!

Q: Will a take out plate fit in this bag?

This bag fits 4 or 5 family sized meat packages with room to spare. A great buy. I ordered 2 in limelight green, reduced pricing with the color, and very pleased.
