I got this a few days ago and the reason was for my cookie dough to be scooped and put on the pan to bake. As always no matter how you try to scoop up the dough your fingers always end up sticky and messy. I have not used it yet but I have tried it. I do not have much strength in my fingers and this little gadget looks like a life saver. first of all I have small hands and when I held it, t was the perfect size. Then when I tried to push the spring it was so easy and the main thing is that it did not ricochet .

Bought this to make my cookies more consistently sized with less effort. The scoop is strong and digs through chewy or chunky dough with no problem. Easy to guage visually whether the ammount of each scoop isthe same as the others compared to using a flat spoon. The sturdy handle means you can compact the dough while scooping to avoid air pockets.Overall, for my specific job it performs perfectly. An inexpensive convenience for increasing accuracy of portions no matter what you're scooping .

This worked just fine today. I baked a batch of Sea Salt-kissed Chocolate Chip cookies. The scoop made the cookies just the right size to fit in my Ziplock food storage cups. Operation was simple and the spring “squeeze” mechanism made the process quick and smooth. Cleanup was a breeze. Despite the hard plastic handle, I get the feeling that this product will last a long time because it is solid and well built.

I purchased this product approximately March, 2022 exclusively for making cookies. I used it twice and when I went to use it recently it fell apart. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it.
