Triple Flame Jet Lighter - Black

The media could not be loaded. This is my first day with it if it winds up crapping out I will write a new review. This thing is nice, I mean really nice. The button is super smooth to push. I hope it lasts and keeps working this well. So far hasn't missed a light yet. When you put fluid in it let it sit for five minutes then use it. Just a trick I've learned. Also use plastic stem fill bottles not steal stem. Also only good butane. I had to turn mine down and since the bottom opens it's ez to fit a normal screw driver in there to do it and it turned easily, unlike cheap ones that fight you on what your doing. Once it was turned down it worked just as well and stopped spraying the tobacco out of the top of my pipe. This seemed like a lot of money on a light but if it lasts it is well worth it. So much nicer than my four dollar junk one.

This works great as far as quality of flame and the adjustments, its solid in your hand and easy to use. However, it seems to leak. I have tried to be super careful with the refill instructions (I don't go through that with my other lighters) but it still seems like when I fill it its leaking and it works great initially but if I don't use it for a few days it runs of out butane quicker like its been leaking. I buy the bigger cans of high quality butane off Amazon but its almost like its too powerful and I've even heard it make a pop sound sometimes while filing that worried me. Also, for harder to light cigars it doesn't like to run for extended or repeated periods. It starts cutting out.

It's absolutely NOT windproof. At least mine's not. The flame adjustment was so high when I first used it that it was trying to blow itself out. I throttled it back some, then it wouldn't light at all. So I flipped it upside down and filled it up with butane again; fill, release, fill again.... I finally got enough butane in it that it would light and stay lit. I adjusted the flame to a nice setting and now it seems to work fine. However, I didn't buy this to use every day. I bought it primarily to singe the ends of para-cord when I cut them so they aren't all frayed and such. For that, it'll work fine and doesn't need to be wind proof, because just a light breath (not blowing) puts it right out. Overall, though, I'm mostly happy with it.

Had this lighter for over a year and a half now. Still works like it's brand new even though I've run junky butane in it. Incredibly solid build, I've dropped it a lot in it's life. The lid still latches well but maybe not as tightly as when new. Only complaint is that there is no fuel window but a lack of flame will tell you there is no butane in it. The thing I hate about it is that I misplaced it...damn. that's why I'm back here buying another one!

After one week, this is my favorite pipe lighter! As soon as it arrived I filled it with a very pure butane (I use Vector Premium 320ml 14x Filtered and have no desire to try anything else!). Using a very pure butane is really essential for any butane lighter.This lighter has a great capacity and lights first time every time. It is very good in our West Texas winds. You can tilt it upside down when lighting your pipe. The flame is great! I will update this review after about 6 months or so, but as for now, this is my favorite lighter!

Worked one week before it became a blow torch. I have yet to find a butane torch on Amazon or in retail stores that don't fail after a week.This model sucked down the butane faster than I could fill it before it turned into a flame thrower with no control

I am impressed with this lighter. If feels very rugged. It lights well and doesn't blow out in the wind. The 3 flames are very hot. You can dial the flame back and still get some good heat and save fuel. The only drawback is not having a window to see how much butane is left. Don't forget to purge before you fill and let it sit a few minutes after filling.

For the first three weeks, lighter worked great! Then all of a sudden, it would not produce a flame without pressing the striker a dozen times or more.I've tried blowing out the jets, as well as finagling with the level. Nothing has really helped. I'm using the same fuel I've been using for years. I buy it at a local cigar shop. In big red letters the can claims that the fuel contained within has been filtered 5x. My other lighters have no problem with it except the one or two that have the same problem as this one.Guess I just got a bad one. Oh well.
