Nice keyboard for hhkb starters
Pretty nice keyboard to start with if you want to try the hhkb layout. I really liked the way it felt with the low profile feel, made it really enjoyable to use. It has an integrated plate design so the keyboard may feel a bit stiff but it's not really a bad thing.

Good keyboard
It was incredible! The thickness of it is perfect and it’s great for gaming!

Received Broken PCB
I received a broken PCB with a missing kaihua hotswap socket in the 2nd row of the left hand side. Also the PCB is heavily modded already which is not what was advertised. Upon opening my package the socket appeared broken off and was visibly damaged. All other components were in OK condition.

Not bad for the money
Very nice kit solid build and paint while giving a nice thick sound

Great beginner board
I liked the layout a lot, not sure I’d recommend for gaming because of it. I put gateron yellow CAP switches and it sounds amazing

I'm baffled this is $170 lol. Save your money, seriously.
There is NOTHING to this board at all. It's about as bottom of the barrel as you can get. The PCB is top mounted / screwed into the top of the case.ZERO foam, no pcb foam, no PE switch foam, no interior case foam.Alum case is subpar, machine marks galore on the bottom "plate" of the case. This board is hollow and soulless. It comes with authentic cherry screw in stabs, that's likely the only good thing about this, although they are dated, they are tried and true and work great. There's really not much else to say, you get an aluminum case, plate built in to top frame, PCB, cheap cheap Cherry stabs, a mediocre cheap screwdriver and a pack of screws. In their bulk these kits likely cost them at most $50-70 a piece if that.Save your $170 and go buy a Neo65, 70 or 80 or grab a DR70F. If you want an HHKB style board grab the Q60 from Keychron. It's the only Keychron board I'll probably ever recommend but you actually get your moneys worth out of it and it's immaculate even out of the box which is shocking.

A great keyboard with some caveats when ordering through Amazon.
The media could not be loaded. Firstly, I ordered this keyboard directly off of the Drop website and not through their Amazon webstore. Some things to note about this:The version they have here and on their website are the same, it is the base kit that includes the PCB, Case, and USB-C cable. This DOES NOT include switches, keycaps, or the acrylic diffuser. The BoB keycaps with the coral FN key and the acrylic RGB diffuser are add-ons for the keyboard sold through Drop's website. As of the writing of this review in March 2021, these add-ons are not available on Amazon... although for keycaps there are options you can get here, just be sure that they are HHKB layout compatible. Now in regards to the keyboard itself. I am definite fan. I originally built this board with Holy Panda tactile switches, Kailh Speed Silver linears, and even some Box Jade clickies, but found that I enjoy the feel and sound of Gateron Milky Yellow linear switches on this board the most. The keyboard can ring hollow, so if that's not your thing, you may want to look else where. I added a little bit of foam to the inside of the case, but it is a very tight fit, you can really only foam up the top half of the board without any additional pressure inside. This can also lessen the RGB underglow through the diffuser. One additional mod I may add in the future is plate foam that goes between the top plate and the PCB, these can be found online and can help lessen some of the hollow sound. Personally I am not bothered by it that much.I've included a video giving an idea of the sound with the linear switches installed. Please take the video with a grain of salt, as it makes it out to be far louder than it actually is. It was recorded using a Yeti Blue Microphone positioned only a few inches to the left of the board. The board has lubed and filmed Gateron Full Milky Housing Yellows with the default screw in stabilizers lubricated to reduce rattling. If I had any complaints, it's that no matter how much I lubricate the space bar stabilizer, there seems to be rattling - but I think this can be fixed by upgrading to Durock or C3 screw in stabilizers. The fact that this is in starter board territory and has screw in stabs by default is a plus.Another thing to note is that the board is VIA compatible which makes customizing the various function layers and changing rgb modes on the fly very easy. Just be sure to flash the QMK firmware, as it's not compatible out of the box, at the very least the version I received was not. Once the firmware is flashed, it's extremely easy to use with VIA software.Honestly I think this board is a fantastic introduction to the HHKB layout. I am unsure about the quality issues that people are reporting on here, perhaps I lucked out, but I've been using this board for about a month and have had no issues, this includes swapping the entire board's switches 4 times to find a feel/sound that I like.

Missing items and material is scratched up badly.
I did some research on the Tokyo60 series a while back, and although I was in love with it, I couldn't afford the extra amount for a mid-range build. I FINALLY had the funds to put into a fresh build with full excitement but only to immediately be disappointed.Pros: The color was accurate to pictures / The layout feels quite natural coming from the traditional ANSI/QWERTY formats / The PCB is absolutely stunning visually / Worked right out of the box, and required ZERO flashing or programming.Cons: (Well, here comes the cluster of bad, so here we go...) Fresh out of the box, the edges were scuffed up pretty badly. There was visible tooling and mishandling marks all over the case. The PCB (though gorgeous) had a terribly over-bright set of bottom-side LED's that were blinding when trying to switch test. The switch removal for the space bar, left shift, and FN keys are nearly impossible to remove unless you completely disassemble the board. The plate was missing items that were specified to come included and yet the listing now reflects that "it doesn't come with them", which in my opinion is ridiculous (and they don't offer them anywhere else other than the sellers ACTUAL site). The PCB was awkward to mount because of some clearance issues ( I almost GUARANTEE I got a B-stock model...). And finally, the bump-on feet it comes with are falling off after cleaning the spots with 2 stages of alcohol and even trying a drop of adhesive (I settled on just getting some adhesive rubber strips from a local hobby shop and they work phenomenal.Overall, I rate the transaction and experience a 2/5. I would love to update my review if the seller is willing to reprimand this with proper actions. Hopefully I'll hear something from them to fix what's wrong shortly, but I will not hold my breath.

Integrated plate, other than that very nice board
Very nice board overall, the integrated plate is fine as long as you know its there and aren't expecting too much from it. Looks great, with the acrylic diffuser sometimes it won't screw closed, I would say just don't get it unless you NEED RGB. Very straight forward build process, standard HHKB layout with 7u space, 2.25u LShift, 1.75u RShift, with split backspace.

A great keyboard but ...
You will need to purchase your switches and keycaps. However, you will also want to purchase dampening foam for this keyboard. The keys do not have any backlighting. However, I highly recommend getting the optional diffuser to take advantage of the LEDs on the underside of the PCB.The layout is reminiscent of my HHKB keyboard and something I've learned to like over the years. The mounting plate is integrated into the top housing. As such, you may want to consider switch plate foam as well.An assembly guide is NOT included. However, this is one of the easier keyboards to assemble, and guides or videos can be found online. As for the price, it is a little steep considering other keyboards on the market have more features to offer. You have the makings for a premium keyboard sound, but you won't get it out of the box without some effort and a good dampening kit.

PCB is garbage
PCB stopped working after about 2 months, after some searching it seems like this is very common with this keyboard. I will avoid this brand in the future
