I've been wanting to get a gimbal for a while now and when this one came up, I thought it would be a good opportunity to try it. Overall, it works well - it is different than using a regular selfie stick or tripod, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a lot easier to manage.It does come with instructions which are not particularly great or well written, but figureoutable. The unit charges quickly and stays charged for a while (And you HAVE to charge it AND turn it on to use the stabilization feature...otherwise your phone will flop right down and smack into the pole) It doesn't have a light to indicate when it's fully charged...and it's kind of hard to see the power light to see when it's on, which is why I took off a star.Overall I think this is an affordably priced, entry level gimbal that is probably fine for most purposes. I really do wish that you could tell when it's charging/charged though - that would be a vast improvement!

Overall for basic use as a selfie stick or to hold while shooting photos or videos I really enjoyed it. The stabilizer definitely takes some time to adjust to but it’s a great feature and it improves movement. It can be turned off and the stand locked into place as well. It definitely falls flat as a tripod though, it’s not stable and small movements shake it while it’s on a table doing videos. It works fine as a quick tripod to get a photo but I wouldn’t recommend for live videos.

I wanted this for using the gimbal. It is unusable with my Samsung A53 because I can't center the weight of the phone without having the clamp press against the phone buttons.
