We have a boring black dining table, and these have made a great and sleek addition to our dining experience. They fit perfectly and hold plates and cutlery on them without worrying if something will fall off or have to sit over the side. They don't shift around unexpectedly on the table either. They're also very easy to wipe and clean.

These are very thin corkboard (3mm). They came warped. It's just wipeable paper stuck on top. I haven't spilt anything yet but I think anything red, like tomato or beetroot would stain them. They came heat/shrink wrapped so tight it was very difficult to open them without scarring with a scissors. The corners are bent as they came just in a plastic envelope. Certainly not worth £18.11 - more like £8 at the most.Later: these did flatten out when I put heavy casseroles on them but still not worth the exorbitant price , and I made sure I had three extra layers of protection between them and the table.

Delivery was fast but there are dents at the edge of the placemats.
