TracFone ZTE Cymbal T Flip Phone Fitted Case Turtleback, in Leather and Nylon - Made in USA black A-ZTECymbalT-E

This is my second Turtleback case, my first was for a Z320, and have also reviewed that case in detail. I've only had this one for 24 hours, but I can safely say this case make the Cymbal T much easier to use, and has no drawbacks that I've found so far. Fit and finish is excellent, but did have a strong odor on arrival that disipated within a few hours. I didn't notice that with the Z320 case. The patented rotating metal clip is designed to lock the phone into almost any orientation other than upside down, which is the position it is holstered and removed. I made one similar mod to the metal post on the back of the case as I did with the Z320, which was to dremel the dimples down a bit to make rotation less stiff. It still holds firmly as the metal post is postioned at the center of gravity. If you plan to carry it in a horizontal position, only having to make a one quarter turn to remove, the stock design shouldn't be an issue. But for me carrying it vertically clipped on my jeans pocket, having to make a full half turn to holster/unholster, was too much resistance for me.I'll once again applaud Turtleback for making these cases for those of us who still prefer the throwback design of flip phones. I delayed ordering one of these for the Cymbal T by a week due to my concern over how the plastic may affect the use of the touch screen, but I can safely say I've noticed no ill effect and no reduced sensitivity. The keys are harder to navigate by touch, but I don't use them that much on this smartphone having an on screen keyboard. I'm about ready to review the Cymbal T itself, and will do that soon. It has replaced my iPhone SE. Nothing wrong with it other than the Cymbal T is a good compromise between a dumb flip phone and a typical smartphone. The case makes it that much better, and feels like it will last the life of the phone. Definitely adds a lot of drop protection. Just because the Cymbal T is a flip phone, it doesn't feel as though I could drop it without the case, unlike a cheaper dumb phone. Hope this helps in favor of ordering a Turtleback for this, or any other model.

He love the phone so far. Flip smart phone. Touch screen and key pad typing. No butt dailing. Good for people that always used a flip phone but wants a smart one too. Big screen easy to use after get use too/ I must have if you don’t want butt dail people. And if you work a rough job the screen protected when phone close. I got him the case too. He clips it right to his pants. This is his 5 phone in the last 2 month. And all the others found issues with. But dail. Phone want hang up. Phone want ring that just a few I have heard about the other phones he used and lost one no case phone acts crazy. He started I just want a simple flip phone none of this not hanging up calls screen breaking can hoxked to belt screen can get broke on belt bumping something. I deiced to let him try this phone before getting a plan phone. I was getting so I’ll every phone had problems. When I have him this one I was waiting for the coplains to start he started playing with and he loved it only thing he said had get use to it. When he wants hang up the phone he just push end on key board closed the phone clips to his belt. When it rings you can hear it ringing the case helps block the volume button so can’t turn volume off easy. For onely 49.99 he got a Phoene he loves. And that makes me happy cause he was driving me nuts issien with every phone I got him. Less stress thank you.

Purchased the black leather turtle back for my ZTE Cymbal cell phone. Loved the cover I originally purchased with the phone however it was plastic and seemed to be to small for the phone and started cracking and breaking within the first week. Came across this cover. No doubt it is plain and not stylish I thought I would give a try. On it's arrival my husband took one look at it and said you are going to hate this! I'm all about the bling. But since I ordered I needed to at least give it a try! After using it for about a month I really do like it. For whatever reason my phone appears to function better with it on. If you don't mind sleek black with no bling and a better functioning phone this could be the phone accessory you been looking for!

Bought this for my husband's new phone and it's a perfect fit. Easy to slip on and off. The vinyl cover for the numbers does not impede from pushing the keys. I like the lightweight canvas and ratcheting belt clip. Overall, this was a very good purchase.

My Harley husband need something secure. It is that. Be sure to swivel the hook to use the camera though. Fits the phone very well. Glad he likes it.
