VellemanVTSSC40N/SP Spare Soldering Iron for Vtscc40N

Bought the original soldering station in 2011. Original iron broke about 3 months ago. When I received the replacements, no issues and works like the original.

Appears identical to original iron. First iron was crushed in transit, so I expect this to work and last as first did. Sorry I can not write more, my daily soldering was done years ago.

I have a velleman soldering station that uses this iron. It stopped working one day and I read online that someone had fixed theirs by replacing the iron. So I decided to order one instead of getting an entirely new soldering station. Luckily it worked perfectly! Of course I can't gaurantee this will work for others but it did for me.

The iron on my soldering station was damaged due to an unfortunate mishap. Bought the spare iron and it exactly the right part.

My VTSCC40N soldering station stopped working after 4 years. I called Velleman, they responded that perhaps the iron was broken. So I gambled and bought two. Turned out they were right. New iron works well. I bought two so I could swap between bits for different jobs.

Does what its supposed to do.

El original es de color amarillo. En la descripción se muestra el amarillo pero he recibido uno con el color azul. Me hubiera gustado el color original
