Does not smell like or have the consistency of Jamaican Black Castor Oil. The JBCO I’ve used in the past smelled like burnt paper almost, and has a dark color. This is nearly clear and has a regular castor oil smell. It is also much thinner than JBCO I’ve bought in the past.It works for my LCO method moisturizing but I would not purchase again because it looks, feels, and smells like regular castor oil.

I use this on my hair and my daughter's. It's a good product. It came packaged well and it's been over month and I still have over half of the bottle left. A little goes a long way.

Jamaican castor oil is brown. Jamaican castor oil has a smell. This is clear and has no smell at all. Sending back.
