Can't beat the price, at local retail price, this is literally buy 4 get 8 free. Can't go wrong there, especially for a well known and respected brand such as Crayola. I made a 4'x8' chalkboard for the kids and purchased two sets, they're extremely satisfied with my purchase and there's a large supply to keep them busy and creative for months to come. It's amazing how much happiness a couple pieces of chalk can bring to the little people. The colors are pretty vibrant and much smoother than some of the other brands available. If you're using chalkboard spray paint, even with a few coats, you need a smooth chalk to avoid coarse particle scratching, and this chalk hasn't caused any scratches that I've noticed. At this price I'll happily purchase again.

There were a few broken pieces in each boxes, but just as I remembered from thirty years ago. I used to buy chalk to color with my children now it’s my grandson. Instead of worrying about broken pieces I just bought holders too.We loved the colors. They are bright and vibrant. We use mostly plain paper bc he’s an artist lol. But he’s had hours of fun with his Nanny with his colored chalk.Great value for the money. And shipped quickly. Plus I didn’t have to leave my home

We did have one Box that arrived with every piece of chalk broken. I just gave that one to the kids for their chalk board. Works well, clean bold lines with the colorful chalk and not too much dust over all.

All the chalk came broken, box after box, thank God it wasn’t glass, it wud have been nice to have full pieces, still useable

The colors are nice and bright, and my kids and I have been enjoying the chalk. Just a heads up for anyone using it on the sidewalk, the blue and red kind of stain the sidewalk. I’m sure the color will eventually wear off, but you might have to help it along with some scrubbing instead of just a quick rinse like actual sidewalk chalk.

The Crayola chalk we ordered in 2023 from Amazon was made in France. This chalk was fine. The recent order of Crayola chalk was made in Indonesia. The quality has changed. The main problem is that it actually scratches the surface of the chalkboard while drawing. Thank you.

Do not buy this. They arrived broken. They are not even useful and don't write well.
