FryeMelissa Medium Crossbody

This is a beautiful bag as are most Frye bags. I love the color (khaki) and the style. The leather is soft and up to Frye's standards. Nice and roomy but not too big. The only negative I have is that the long shoulder strap is not very substantial... it's rather flimsy compared to other Frye bags I own. Other than that, this is a nice bag and I was very happy to get it at a lower price.

Fryes reputation for quality is vindicated... Excellent product! I expect to use this bag for years.

This is a beautiful bag, I was worried it was going too small but it's just the right size (coming from a Frye Melissa Tote) It holds my wallet (melissa zip around), glasses case, a bottle of water, phone (2 places) and I still have room for some other stuff as needed.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it doesn't come with a dust bag :(Otherwise, overall I'm thrilled with it.

Came with no crossbody strap!! Looked everwhere in the purse, in the box and in the dust bag. Also tore apart all the packaging but it's not here! If I don't get the strap for the cognac bag I might be returing the bag.

I had one Frye Melissa cross bag of another style and color that I absolutely love. Purchased this one because it was smaller and I am now in love with the new one, too. There is no other leather like the leather on Frye bags. Excellent quality.

This purse is just the right size.

Frye products are supposed to be a lot sturdier than this. Straps are very flimsy, thin, strap pad is bent. Literally 1/8" thick. Disappointed in the strap quality. Bag is pretty and roomy but my Samsung Galaxy S10+ won't fit in any of the interior or exterior pockets, so it will just have to be loose in the bag. Odd smell, burns my eyes and throat, must be dye or tanning process, hope it goes away. I always had a high opinion of Frye, but for what I paid for this bag, and compared to what their competitors offer, I am let down. Heavier straps and pad, and more holes so it could convert to a shoulder bag, would have been a massive improvement. Not sure if I will be keeping this, the straps are a big detractor for such an expensive handbag. I even bought the matching wallet, that seems fine.

I had a hard time choosing which Frye bag to get as some seemed so small and others too large for daily use. I would say this one is just perfect!
