The New York Times Favorite Day Crosswords: Tuesday

I bought this for my husband, and he finished all of the crossword puzzles. He complained that some of the clues were too obscure, but otherwise liked the format and liked the puzzles.

These are not for beginners. Love the challenge.

This puzzle book is a bit misrepresented. There are a lot of obscure items in this book's puzzles and the clues can sometimes leave one feeling clueless, so remotely oblique they seem. I would not say it is so effectively pleasing or easy a past-time solving these puzzles as one has to do some and leave the puzzle and work on it some more and come back to it. I put it aside for when I feel like a challenge.Most of the other NYTImes Puzzle books ARE as easy as they say they are. Not so much this one.

Excellent book for crossword puzzle lovers. Bill Shortz delivered the goods. Big fan. This book would make a good present to oneself or to lovers of puzzles.

It was a fun book and a challenge at times I'm liking the New York Times crosswords. I like that I can get something on my level it's not too hard and not too easy

I hate this book and can't use it. The type used for the clues is too small, the squares are small, and worst of all the numbers in the squares are too small to read. And I don't find the puzzles all that easy, either . . . although I've always found the Tuesday puzzles very easy. This book is just not for me.

My Mother is in a retirement home and with all of the restrictions she gets very bored. These books are a lifesaver.

Little harder than I thought, but still love it

Unless you enjoy doing to crosswords at a time, I'd skip this one.Unfortunately, the paper stock is too thin. You can see the next pages through the one you're on.The puzzles themselves are exactly what you'd hope.
