NetacUSB Flash Drive U505

I bought this to connect to a projector, as the projector wouldn't connect to my Seagate Hard Drive. It seemed OK for a few uses, but then it just stopped working.No devices recognise the drive, and while Windows can actually see the drive, it states there is no Media on it. I have tried everything to get it working, including changing the drive letter, but the partition is completely gone and it cannot be reformatted or repartitioned. It is completely dead. I'm not fussed about the data on it, I have backups, but the drive is completely useless now.

The recent USB flash drive i purchased never has a led indicator to show read or write activity. I selected this product mainly because of the big storage capacity but also it has a led indicator.Out of the box, the format is ExFat with no bloatware. This makes it work with PC and Mac without the need to reformat it. Nice!This flash drive support USB 3.0. On a real life testing using Windows 10, i transferred 23GB of data files to the flash drive. It was showing an estimated 14mins and averaging a write speed of 30MB/s.On a more recognised benchmark software, Crystal Disk Info reported a 37MB/s sequential write speed and a 148MB/s sequential read speed. For the price point and memory capacity, this is a good value USB flash drive.

Does what it is supposed to do, i needed to transfer photos from a faulty laptop i needed to return, have now transferred them back to my old laptop and now am using it in my roku tv so i can pause it, it done some sort of reboot? before it could work in the tv, it only allows 90 mins of playback time so a bit of a waste of a 64g stick. not sure yet if it will reboot back to previous when stick it in laptop again but if not i will just buy another one,.I like that you can close it too and is decent price.my review is real & honestUPDATE - Have now purchased a 2nd one for my laptop because i rebooted the first one to use in my TV so i can pause it, better to have 2, 1 for each use.Review is the same for this one as i am still happy with it, obviously, as i bought another 😄

I had a problem using this due to it not transferring my music and it started messing up my computer.It came with no information as to what this is formatted to and mine came either faulty or with wrong formatting as it would not transfer my music files.I was going to return this awful thing for refund but my not having a printer it was made so difficult to get the refund when trying returning this thing I gave up and binned it.As a Prime member I usually buy from Amazon, who credit to them do make refunds easy but this not supplied by Amazon and therefore I will be careful buying from third party sellers in future.This is not any use for storing music it takes five minutes to copy 30 music from iTunes library onto this stick even then only copy’s a about eight songs.A complete waste of money unless I got a duff piece of junk.I have since bought a Sandisk and it transferred all my music like a dream, and quite fast.

This is a nice compact thumb drive. Unfortunately I was unable to use it for what I intended, which was to download a map update for my car. Firstly it wouldn't complete the down load, saying it was not compatible and needed a maximum of 32mg, but this thumb drive was 64mg, so shouldn't have been an issue. Secondly when I was able to get a condensed download of the update the vehicle USB point couldn't recognise the thumb drive and instructed to format it. So was just going round in circles. I tried to format this thumb drive both on my mac laptop and chromebook unsuccessfully. However, I'm not saying that it is completely useless and I may be able to use it for other things, but I thought with a brand new thumb drive there wouldn't be any issues with doing a download/update
