LEGO Chima Tormak's Shadow Blazer - beloved present for future engineer
Bought this LEGO Chima Tormak's Shadow Blazer set for my nephew's 5th birthday. I think it is too complex for most 5 year olds; however, my nephew is a 'future engineer' and already has experience putting together 30+ lego sets.For people who may not know, Chima is one of the Lego-branded sets that also has an animated TV series. It's one of the more violent ones but appeals to 1st grade or older (generally). The characters are all different kinds of animals. We discovered Chima after earlier phases with the Lego Star Wars and Ninjago sets [martial arts based sets].

My kids are obsessed with Chima and my 9 year old who is good at lego really couldn't do this on his own. I didn't feel like the construction on this one was easy to follow or that it worked all that well.
