3 year long term review ~ Hundreds of miles until this week, my first flat = 5 stars IMHO.
tldr; These work great for me and I recommend them: I went from multiple flats a month to 3 YEARS before my first flat so 5 stars! (hopefully the liner quality has not changed in 3 years)I live in Sparks, Nevada (Tahoe/Pyramid Trail area) ~ I ride a "Trek Dual Sport 2" (gravel bike with mountain bike bars and tiny knobbies) ~ my rides vary between streets to fire roads and single tracks. Before using these liners, I was getting flats almost weekly. My trails have broken bottles, thorns an jagged stones. Even bike lanes have broken glass, construction garbage, etc.I purchased new tires, liners, and heavy tubes containing Slime all at the same time to ensure no hidden hazards were hiding.Installation is dead simple. I would avoid introducing chemicals as some other reviews state the plastic became brittle. This "start with new everything" formula worked for me. I've ridden hundreds of hard miles (I like hill climbs that require standing on the pedals and pulling on the bars for leverage / I bottom out my suspension often due to rough roads / I live for the speeding back down!).I knew that I had gone a long time without a flat but it wasn't until I checked my order history to write this review that I realized it has been since 2020!Ironically, at just over 3 years, the liner itself caused my first flat: (see image) The liner overlaps inside the tire and this miniscule 'ledge' over time sawed enough into the inner tube to cause a leak. But at 3 years, they have paid for themselves and I am NOT complaining.I am going to just buy another new tire and inner tube set becausea. My tread is almost done anywayb. Based on negative reviews, I suspect that there is an incompatibility between patching solvents and liner which can make it fall apart.I hope this is helpful. Your mileage may vary. Cheers!

Great flat protection
The Thornbuster inner tube liners are excellent quality and easy to install. They offer extremely good protection against punctures, though they do not prevent pinch flats. For road or trails with sharp thorns or brush that can pierce a tire, these are a must have.

Did the job.
They work fine. No problems at all over a couple hundred miles in the desert.

Became brittle and broke
I installed the liner after patching a flat. The tire patch leaked and I didnβt get to ride it after installation. It sat for a few weeks in my garage and when I went to repatch the tire I saw that the liner is totally falling apart. I really donβt understand how this is supposed to prevent thorns from puncturing a tire when itβs literally falling apart before even being used.
