I am allergic to gluten and wheat. Finding a gluten-free onion soup mix for cooking was almost impossible. Then I discovered Goodman's. It is awesome!! Great taste! Makes delicious onion soup dip and beef stew. I highly recommend this brand!! It is the only one I use!!

Used it on a pot roast and the flavor was way better than Lipton

The flavor is quite good. However, it is not an onion soup mix with which you are familiar. It's a powder and very concentrated. There are no bits of dried onion or anything else. It's more like a bullion. If you buy this and want a product more like a traditional onion soup mix, I would suggest you add dried onion bits to it. I might also suggest experimenting with how much of the powder you add. I made meatloaf and added a package to the mix just like I've always done with a traditional onion soup mix. It was so salty we could not eat it. I think it's just a matter of trial and error.

Excellent option for GF diet, with no loss of flavor! Use for any recipe that calls for onion soup mix.

I've used it twice in the crock pot when I cook a roast. Very good flavor, not too strong and not overly salty. No dryed onions in it which was kind of disappointing. But all in all, it is Gluten Free. The other brands are not. So it is nice that the gluten free packets are available on Amazon. I only used a half of a packet each time. It was plenty and flavorful.
