They're okay, but not the best I've had. The problem is consistency. some of the nuts are very good, but others have a stale or somewhat off taste. They also vary greatly in size, from average to very small, the smallest I've ever seen.

As a family of Vegans, we eat a variety of fresh nuts daily for years. These are the best Brazil nuts I have ever purchased in the states. It's hard to eat just one per family member per day (1> RDA for selenium - helps fight prostate cancer)They are fresh and crunchy. Due to bad weather, prices went up last year and we began to look for better prices. As long as quality holds up, SUNBEST will be our regular source. Thank you! (the zip lock bag was a failure, but easily fixed with a clothes pin or chip clip. Worth overlooking for the good quality nuts)Update - After purchasing these several times, I would recommend stocking up in the cooler months as they degrade in quality quickly when delivered in the hot summer weather, they loose the fresh crunch. My next order is on hold until <60F days.

I LOVE Brazil Nuts for years and years but sadly sorry to report that eventhough this recently bought new package has an expiration date of 3-2022, many of these Brazil nuts are badly unpleasantly stale borderline spoiled too old rancid bordering on smelling like old fashion oil paints for house painting which is not really good for our health so that I will need to throw them away see about returning them or risk my health consuming them.

We previously depended on Sunbest brazil nuts to provide the freshest and best tasting nuts, along with being well packaged. Not this time. One of 3 packages was broken open inside the box in which they were all delivered with nuts spilled out everywhere. Didn't realize that before picking up bag which then spilled all over my porch and onto the ground. Squirrels got the ones on the ground and we managed to get the others cleaned off enough to freeze and hopefully kill any germs on those nuts on porch. While placing the others 2 in the freezer, I accidentally dropped one of the other bags and it broke open and spilled out onto my utility room floor...not the cleanest floor in our home. Very disappointed with Sunbest and hope they can improve their bagging experience as well as providing fresher nuts to their customers. Judy Wells Read

These Brazil nuts are identical in price to my previous brand, the only reason I decided to switch was because the packaging on this product was opaque in the hopes of slowing down degradation of the fats from sunlight. When they came in not only were they in a completely clear bag but it was fairly cheap. Product itself was very good though, I ended up freezing half the bag to be on the safe side.

These nuts went bad after six weeks. Rotten.

Because of Covid-19 I am careful to sterilize packages before use. Hard to do when bag is open and nuts are loose in delivery box. Also, hard to know if seal was defective or bag had been tampered with. No problem on past orders and nuts were of very good quality. Amazon does not allow returns for this product so I am stuck with an opened package.

These nuts are very fresh. Put them in separate packs and vacuum sealed then froze to keep even fresher!
