It's a nice plate.
Honestly, it's a very simple product. It's a plate made of PCB material for the Tidbit. If you're using mill-max hot swap sockets, you should snap the switches in the plate, then carefully press the whole thing into the sockets. Like another person noted, if you're using the OLED, put the plate on first. My only complaint is that there isn't a section in the Tidbit build guide on Github. Nullbits, I will update this to a five-star review if you add that--it will make things slightly simpler. I only found out I needed this if I'm using hot-swap sockets from another review.

Easy to mess up OLED install using this
Instructions for this tell you to solder in the OLED screen before installing the switchplate. DON'T DO THIS, install the header pin for the OLED so it won't conflict with the plate, then all the switches, and finally the OLED. Bad oversight in the instructions that could have been avoided with better writing or changing this PCB so it doesn't even touch the OLED pins on the main PCB either way. Fine if you take precautions, but the official documentation will cause lots of frustration.

OLED interference
Doesn't play nicely when there's an OLED screen installed

Good plate
Fits switches well. There is a slot for the oled. So if you already installed the oled or rotary encoder you may have to desolder to get the plate on.

No instructions
There are no instructions for installing this plate anywhere on their website. If installing an oled, the plate MUST be installed before the oled. Otherwise you will have to remove the oled to install the plate, which could be avoided with half decent instructions
