Giuliani Brazilwood Violin Bow 4/4 (Full) Size

I've just taken delivery of my new bow. As a beginning adult player at age 70, I can appreciate the light weight and ease of playing that this bow allows. The bow hair is flawless and the frog quite comfortable. I added a pinkyrest, training device to assist me in keeping proper position. Would I buy it again? Absolutely.

After purchasing a cheaper bow on Amazon that arrived in several pieces, I was wary about purchasing another bow online, but we couldn't fork out a ton of money for a nice bow for my seven year old. This bow fit the bill perfectly! It was packaged more carefully than anything I've ever been shipped and was in pristine condition upon arrival. The bow is exceptionally sturdy, and the hair has been strung very well. Save your money on the cheap ones that are $20 or less. Spend a little extra for a nicer beginning bow that will last.

I bought this to use as a backup when I attended a music camp this summer but it can easily be my primary bow. Good quality wood and fitting and well packaged on delivery. The seller contacted me to expect the shipment and followed up that I was happy with the purchase. I would recommend this bow to anyone looking for an intermediate priced bow.

I expected it to be just a little bit better, even though the price is very affordable. I may be basing this review on bad strings though so I'll try to update when I get around to upgrading to better strings.

Bow plays a lot better than my old one! Doesn't loosen very well, but that may change as it gets older.

Bow is mediocre. bow hair is not fully threaded. It'll work, but I'm not thrilled with it and likely won't buy another of this brand.

Plays like a dream! Didn't have to rosin out of package. Packaging was done just right.

I just received this now today but already I can tell the tremendous difference between it and the starter bow in my rental package. My teacher also said that she felt it was a great bow for the price I paid.
