Excellent sequel
Meg Elison's Rode to Nowhere books are wonderful, and this third book -- The Book of Flora -- is an excellent addition to the series. Written mostly from the point of view of Flora, a character some of us will remember from The Book of Etta, this book continues the exploration of the post-plague world, as Flora, Eddy, and other new characters travel in search of a place where they can live honestly as the people they are.Engaging and a page-turner, like Elison's other books. If you haven't read The Book of the Unnamed Midwife and The Book of Etta, I would read them first. This book *can* stand alone, but it will be a richer experience once you've read the other two. Also, they are also wonderful!

Amazing - By far my favorite book
My favorite book by Meg Elision. The characters are interesting and this book you will not want to put down. I love this book so much, Flora is an amazing woman .. I felt like I knew her and was imagining what she would look like as a real person. Mel Elision never disappoints.

SATISFYING END TO THE TRILOGY
This book explores more variations on social structure. It also includes scientific speculation. However, since it is the final book in a trilogy, interested readers might find the story arc more satisfying if they read the books in order.
