The description of this monitor states that the resolution of the monitor is 2560x1440, mine arrived this morning and of course, like any sane person i checked the resolution. It was 2048x1152... It looks really crisp and good, but I will most likely want my money back for this. The bezels on this monitor are very small and look great with other monitors for a multi-monitor setup. I will be painting the bottom of the monitor black, the silver looks really bad. Overall the build quality feels really good.

I bought 2 of these refurbished. One works great. the other will occasionally turn off and back on repeatedly. I will turn it off manually, then back on and it is good for the rest of the dayUpdate Nov 24, 2018 (2.5 years later)...The one screen with the problem got worse and now really isn't usable. bumping down to a 3 star.

Good quality monitor, but be aware that the stand is not very sturdy. Probably best if mounted on a monitor arm with a VESA adapter. The picture image however (my most important consideration) is very sharp, bright and detailed, and so far it's handled all content I've displayed quite well. A good value for sure.

I'm always skeptical about buying a refurb but this monitor was a steal and works really well. My only complaint is that it doesn't have VESA mounting holes, so using my stand required purchasing another $30 part from a 3rd party.

I'll be honest. I was skeptical buying a refurbished monitor. I've had it a couple of days now and everything is running perfect so far. No dead pixels and the monitor looks brand new. In fact, I bought a 4k LG and I'll be returning it and keeping this instead as the picture on this actually looks more crisp. I don't see any back light bleed either. Happy with the product and purchase.One word of advise. I'm in California and if you go to the actual Acer Recertified website, looks like they won't charge for taxes. Don't know why I'm charged taxes on the Amazon website and not on the Acer Recertified website. I guess it depends on where you live, so YMMV. I hope this helps someone!

The picture quality is superb but the stand is ridiculous and there seems to be too much IPS glowing compared to my Dell U2412

Had it well over a week and I am completely satisfied with this monitor. 2K gaming looks great on this monitor and it runs flawlessly too. Absolutely in love with this purchase. They have this new about 100 more but I took my chances with it being refurbished and it paid off. My brother bought this monitor refurbished from Newegg and it wasn't in good condition. There were some dead pixels but the one I bought off Amazon was like new. Thanks a lot Acer and Amazon, you guys really did a great job. Super duper happy.

I am using with my 10.10.5 Yosemite hackintosh (thats Mac OSX for anybody searching), using an EVGA GeForce GTX 750 TI FTW with the Nvidia Web drivers. The whole point for me was a monitor (and video card, which I upgraded at the same time, and also recommend), that supports WQHD resolution of 2560x1440 on my hackintosh. I can say that WQHD is working PERFECTLY, beautiful pic, and the few older games I have've never run better on the hackintosh.Next test is to see if I can plug a second 1920x1080 monitor in.. hackintoshing is fun :)
