MTECH USA MT-20-07M Fixed Blade Knife 20-Inch Overall

This is one of the best knives I have ever seen. I deal with knives everyday, and this is on my top 10. It is extremely sharp, and I sliced open my index finger the second I opened it, some people say thats not good, but thats a great trait to have. I rate this knife 5 stars because of the quality it presented to me. This blade was not bent, but, the one down side, is that the compass does not work whatsoever. I don't look at the add ons, I look at the quality of the blade itself. I recommend this blade to anyone who wants a great quality bad ass knife.Update--- This is a tough knife, very tough, but the blade part bent wile torture testing it. It goes straight through 3 inch trees, you have to chop twice and have perfect edge alignment, but on 5 inch trees, the blade bends and warps, but the tang has'nt broken on me. I was able to fix it with a Lansky knife sharpener and its somewhat strait. I hope this update assisted you in your purchase.

This knife came very sharp and isn't anything like what the other guy said it's perfect (for a cheap 440 stainless steel knife) The only issues I have had was the knife's tip cut through the plastic cap and cut a small hole in the bottom of the sheath and the cheap compass on the butt of the handle doesn't work at all but other then those things (which doesn't bother me that much at all) The knife is only slightly thicker then a regular cheap machete it does however cut very well and the balance isn't bad for a cheap knife I suggest that everyone who has an extra 15 bucks should buy this knife you won't regret it cause even if you damage or destroy it some how it still only cost you less then 15 bucks with free shipping so who cares! Seriously I would seriously recommend this knife to everyone!

A decent blade it's really light, lighter than the than the much shorter bushcraft style knife I bought from MTECH. It also came razor sharp and is a good sharpener and fits the hand well. HOWER I ntoticed it fit the hand so well because the handle was actually warped, curving to the left when the edge is facing away from you. Other than that if you need something for clearing rush or something to practice cutting with before getting a more expensive machete this is it.

Like the knife but sheath is not very good .Does not snap .Blade will cut through 1 inch branch in one cut will cut 3inch in 2 cuts .Came very sharp out of the box and looks good . Shipping from company I ordered from was slow took about 10 days to get it 5 days just for them to ship it . Like MTech Knives Great Knife for Great price will buy MTech again .100% satisfied with knife ...

Ordered this awhile back, used it in the yard but nothing difficult. Just went camping and needed something to split wood. Used my SOG hawk and it wasn't effective. Used this MTech machete and got the job done beautifully. Best machete I've ever had for the cost. Tough, comfortable and looks bad ass too!

This machete cut thru 2 inch hardwood branches like they were nothing. Loved the feel of the grip. It lasted all of 5 mins before the blade snapped at the handle mid swing. Maybe if i had gotten an hour out of it id feel like i got what i paid for

Awesome little machete, comes very sharp, and works very well, it does have a compass in the base, don't expect it to actually work though.I love this thing, only had it a week or so, and spmehow, I managed to dull the first two inches of the tip, and nick the blade pretty good, but, should be fine with some sharpening.I would definitely reccomend this.

The knife came sharp, but the handle was not attached. The metal was actually snapped where it was supposed to be attached, unfortunately. I opened up the box the knife was in and went to pull the knife out to inspect it and the handle rolled out of the plastic bag. Too bad, really. The knife looked kind of cool.
