Didn't last a year before it bulged.
NOTE: THIS BATTERY DOES NOT WORK ON ORIGINAL 3DS, 3DSXL, 2DS, NEW3DSXL OR NEW3DSXL. ONLY ON NEW3DS MODELS.It worked as a good replacement to my N3DS battery. It provided about the same amount of battery life the original battery did. Unfortunately, the battery bulged about 6 months in, and a bulging battery is a fire hazard. Buy as a quick replacement, but not as a long term replacement.

Ok for a 3rd part replacement
Works for a couple hours on a full charge. Not as good as an official battery, but unfortunately Nintendo doesn't sell them anymore. The fit is a little off. It fits in the battery compartment but is slightly smaller (slight gap on the sides) so I wonder if it is actually 1400mAh since it also doesn't last as long on a full charge.

So far, so good
The battery looks nearly identical to the original. So far it is working great, holding its charge well, no issues at all. Installation was simple and it extends the life of a nice gaming device. If the battery is still performing in a year, the way original battery was working, I'll bump this to a 5-star.

A good replacement
I recently got the new 3ds however there wasn't any battery included so I look for one and found this listing so I just buy the battery the first one wasn't good but the replacement is good it is able last long enough to play a game of mario kart.

Just Don’t
I knew that this wouldn’t work as well as an official battery but I didn’t expect it to be this bad. It is awful. Don’t buy, it worked pretty well but then a week later it could barely last over 30 mins. I have to turn down volume, 3D, and wireless settings just so it can last a little over 1.5hrs. I used it for a N3DS. I would have given it a zero if I could, not only that, but they charge the price of what a real one would cost. If you're looking for a battery to replace the one on the N3DS, just buy one meant for the O3DS and tape it. Will be much better than this. Or you can try looking for an OEM model.

Already swollen
I havent even used the battery yet and its already swollen up and unusable after only 2 months.
