If you use them for small wire here there they will work fine. However if you are using them to clip 5/32 1/8 stainless wire they wear out and get sloppy fast. Got these 1/03/2024 reviewing on 1/16/2024. Right out of the box you can see they are not finished as well as knipex. They will cut 5/32 stainless but not nearly as effortlessly as knipex. If you are a welder and use them dozens of times a day like me buy the knipex. I am sure these will be broken within the next few months. UPDATE 07/05/2024 Still using them. actually started to cut better with age? Changed to 5 Star cause I’d buy them again

They sell China-made product of an awful quality for a lot of money. It should cost not more than $10. The reason I did not return it is because of semi flush bold cutter and high hardness of cutting edges. I decided to keep it and I have repaired this tool by myself.

We use heavy double strand fence wire for horse and garden fencing. This is actually a mini bolt cutter with padded plastic handles and mechanical advantage making it easier for my 75 year old arthritic hands to still do the work with these cutters and I highly recommend them.

I bought this hoping it would cut the crimp off a pex cinch ring. It sort of works if you can catch just half of the cinch and not both halves, but it's not the cutting brute I hoped for. This is much sturdier than my side cutters and end cutting dikes, but not much of a bolt cutter. The quality of the metal and hinge seems good and it hasn't broken yet, so its pretty good, but you should know its limits. If you need to cut 1/8 or larger hard metal, you may need something else.

Went through livestock fence material flawlessly, and performed perfectly.

I bought this bolt cutter to take with me fishing on the boat. If somebody got snagged with a fishing hook, I needed to be able to cut the hook. Unfortunately, this cutter couldn't cut through even a small fishing hook, so it's not going to do me much good.

I bought these to cut barbed wire, regular dikes just don’t do it short of pulverizing the bones in your hand. These cut pretty effortlessly, so far so good. This hay season and summer will be the test.

The jaws are so loose they slip over each other, can’t cut hardened solid wire and jaws overlapping makes them worthless for even #6 and smaller copper and baling wire, would not buy again

The rivets holding the pieces together failed on first use. (a piece of 1/8" cable tray) Once I put them back in place the cutting edges were no longer aligned.Extremely dissatisfied. Sent them back as a return, don't even want another set

Does what I needed. Would have provided five stars if it would cut screws at any other part of jaw except very closest to hinge.
