Smart!
I just moved into a place with a smaller kitchen than I'm used to and found myself with barely any usable counter space because my Breville toaster oven took up all the space. I looked around for something I could keep on my stove top so that I could move the toaster oven there. After ruling out plastic and wood cutting boards and stove toppers, I discovered this. The tempered glass means it's sturdy enough to hold my oven and heat resistant enough to keep on my stove top even while the oven is in use. It's the perfect size to hold my toaster oven and I like that the silicon feet are tall enough to clear the burners. It's a great product at a great price, and I couldn't be happier with it.

READ UPDATE Re Good idea; I removed the legs; now perfect for my stove
I have a restaurant-style stove with six burners and a griddle. The griddle is in between pairs of burners and has a stainless-steel cover. When I cook, I like to place a glass cutting board over the griddle section to provide a place for utensils and pre-measured ingredients, and also to keep spatters off the stainless surface. I had never been able to find a glass cutting board with the right proportions -- either too short (front to back) or if long enough, too wide. So I ordered the Instant Counter Tempered Glass Cutting Board. It was a much better length (covers all but an inch of that stainless griddle cover), however the rather tall legs defeated the purpose of spatter protection. But I found they were very easy to remove. I used a paint scraper (little plastic tool that holds a single-edge razor blade) to get under the adhesive ring around the legs. Once you see the thin adhesive start to lift, you can tilt the leg with your fingers, and off it pops (then a wipe with alcohol and a couple more flat scrapes with the razor). I replaced the legs with small, peel-n-stick, silicone pads.UPDATE:One night while cooking dinner, this glass cutting board literally exploded! There was a very loud bang (I was standing about five feet away), and small pieces of the glass shot as far as ten feet all over the kitchen. The stove burners were off; there was a recently-cooked steak on the glass; nothing else was sitting on it; the event was completely unpredictable and might have caused injury if someone had been closer. The pieces were crumbly but quite sharp, unlike broken automobile glass. I found a couple references online to this kind of occurrence. Apparently, tempered glass can have minute inclusions of metal or debris that can result in spontaneous shattering even years after manufacture.

Small kitchen? Gain a little counter space!
I have a very small kitchen and I gave this cutting board a try in order to gain some counter space. It's great! I sometimes use it over the burners and gain some counter space and sometimes I put it on the counter and use it to hold hot dishes. The price is right too!

Extra Counter Space!
I use this over my sink and it gives me much needed "counter" space in my small kitchen. Wish I had bought it sooner. Haven't used it for a cutting board as I prefer another smaller one that isn't glass. However, this is easy to clean and easy to move when necessary. While it fits my sink I would recommend others to make sure of their dimensions before purchasing! Don't think it a problem when used over the stove. It is glass and I am cautious when placing anything on it that is hot...warm is not a problem.

just right for me
I don't use these as cutting boards - I never intended to. I bought these for 2 reasons: to give myself just a tiny bit more flat-surface area in my kitchen and to keep some of the dust/debris off of and out of my stove. They work perfectly for both my purposes. Now if I don't cook for a while or if I'm out of town, kitchen freshen-up is an easy job, I just wipe off the cutting boards / covers and countertops and good as new, the kitchen is all sparkly again! And I don't have to look at the ugly burners all the time anymore!

Get 1 (or2), you'll love them
These cutting boards are great. I ordered 2 and have had a lot cf compliments from friends. I use them on my gas stove top, next to an induction stove top and over a sink. I've also used them for cheese platters. On a buffet table, they give you another height for a dish. (always eye pleasing instead of everything being flat) I think they are nicer looking than the picture. Being etched clear glass and light legs, they take up no visual space. You don't notice them sitting there (your counter doesn't look cluttered), but are work horses.

PICTURE NOT ACCURATE
The pictures depicts 4 clear plastic triangular in shape extensions at the bottom of the feet. Actually I had to buy this separate. Even then I had to superglue this to the bottom of the real bottom, flat surface. So far so good, glue has worked, will see if it does so in actual use.

Ordered one then another.
We recently had a kitchen remodel and were worried about how we were going to protect the new counter top. I decided to order one of these to give it a try. Within a few days we liked it so much we ordered another. Now the wife says she wants another one or two for when we have larger family gatherings. We have not used it as a cutting board. Instead we place hot items like pots and pans etc. on it. It holds the hot item up off the counter top and when finished they are very easy to clean.
