Nuovo romanzo della serie Vampire Hunter D sempre ambientato in un America (?) a metà tra il post-apocalittico e il western (con una spruzzata di decadentismo gotico). Sempre piacevole il protagonista e la sua caustica spalla (la mano/mutante di D sempre pronta a parlare nei momenti meno opportuni). Interessanti i dettagli che vengono svelati sulla guerra contro gli O.S.B. (se non li conoscete non avete letto i romanzi precedenti, quindi non è da qui che dovete iniziare) e i personaggi presentati. Buona la prova del traduttore e sempre piacevoli le illustrazioni di Amano (in B/N come al solito). Inizio di una storia fiume (4 volumi in originale) che si concluderà nel volume 17 dell’edizione americana. Da leggere sicuramente (a patto di masticare un po’ d’inglese).

If you’re a fan of the series, it’s another a crazy adventure for Vampire Hunter D. It starts up almost the same except D lets his opponent go in order to fullfil a promise. Of course it ends with another battle about to begin. I have to get the next book.

I have enjoyed my purchase and look forward to future buys.
