I ordered these black tights after reading a New York Times: Wirecutter review of the best black tights. I wear black tights often with my dresses and hate having to replace them regularly after they snag or lose their elasticity. These tights are pricey but are worth it. They are opaque, not sheer, and have a smooth, comfortable waistband that doesn’t dig or roll. I have skinny ankles and calves and didn’t have to worry about these tights feeling looser in those areas. A really great fit.

The very best and really all I buy now. I can wash and dry them with regular laundry, they're very opaque, last for months, and fit great. Worth it.

These tights gathered me in kept me warm and much better than the Spanx i previously bought. You can’t go wrong.

These were not support and they smelled like kerosene washed order still there and no support like ones I purchased from Norstroms horrible weird

I ordered this item because I was looking for an opaque black shapewear tight and can’t find the Spanx brand anywhere. This item came up with that keyword search and the reviews seemed good. I’m so disappointed. First of all, these are definitely not opaque and they are not tights. Even the packaging indicates this unfortunately the packaging details aren’t featured on Amazon. Secondly, there is absolutely nothing to keep the waistband in place or from rolling so I found these incredibly uncomfortable to wear all day. Thirdly, the size chart on Amazon says “one size” which I was very skeptical of but had nothing else to go off of so I ordered a small (same size I wear in Spanx). This may or may not be the correct size for me but they were super difficult to put on/take off and then with the rolling waistband it was definitely digging into me. Lastly, I specifically searched for shapewear, which these are not, they just feature a control top like most hosiery. I’d send them back but I wore them... commando. What a waste

These are absolutely the best I have ever worn. No digging from the waist. Been wearing for years. Kind of pricey and worth every penney. Never had a run. Amazing.

What can I say, these are simply amazing. After many years of trying to find the perfect tights, I have found them in these. They launder amazingly well and control in all the right places. They are very flattering and I feel very sexy when I wear them. They are all day tights and stay in place well even when I am on my feet and moving around a lot.

I love my regular Commando opaque tights, and have them in about 7 colours. However, sometimes they tend to ride down, which is why I tried this control top pair. I ordinarily avoid control top like the plague because I don't want to feel "trussed like a turkey", but these ones are very comfortable and don't ride down!
