The product is good and the instructions are pretty straight-forward
The product is good and the instructions are pretty straight-forward, but the wiring is a pain to connect to the wire harness of a 2014 GMC Acadia due to GMC's placement. The fuses and relays are simple to install and the instructions are clear. For the 2014 Acadia, the battery is in the floor behind front passenger seat (slide the front passenger seat all the way forward, open the rear passenger-side door, flip up the floor mat, remove the plastic cover under the passenger seat, and I think I used a t-20 torx bit to remove the screw holding the battery cover on, and then I used a 10mm socket to remove the negative battery cable). After removing several screws to the inner fender cover, you pry the cover to the side and you'll see the wiring harness inside, toward the rear. The harness is mounted to the cars body on a plastic "clip". The harness can be slid off of the clip to allow just enough movement to plug the Curt harness to it. Then I slid the harness back onto the clip, reattached the inner fender and reconnected the battery. I ran the Curt harness to the bumper mount and ran it inside the frame, and popped it out through the access hole for installing the hitch. Thinking baout it now, I probably need to wrap tape around it where it comees out of the hole to protect it from abrasion.
