Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir Coral Ballpoint Pen 114727

I receive more comments regarding this pen and its companion fountain pen. They make a great set and are a close reproduction of the style of the early Montblanc pens. Both write extremely well. They are not large pens, but are also not "pocket sized." If you like a smaller pen for writing they are ideal. Regardless, they are an outstanding contribution to a pen collection.

Yes, the format is smaller than the traditional Montblanc fountain pen or ballpoint pen. This is a bit of a shock. However, it is nice and heavy and feels substantial in the hand. Also the coiled snake is quite exotic. Perfect gift for 35th anniversary, the "coral" anniversary. Recipient was very pleased.

Wonderful to write with and simply beautiful to admire

This is literally the smallest pen I’ve seen, not a normal size.

Montblanc quality, however, it's a bit shorter than normal Montblanc. Pretty and nice color, resemble the longer limited edition Agatha Christie version but less expensive.

I had some doubts after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly impressed when I received this pen. I’ve got 3 montblanc pens, this one is one of my favorites so far. It’s clearly an original pen at an amazing price. I plan to take it to montblanc store to verify.

Writes well, definitely small, constantly retracts as it is a turn to open. One year later all paint crumbling off, and barrel, resin portion cracked an broke.
