Christopher Priest used a variety of writing styles. Sometimes he wanted to be a detective/political thriller writer. He would make stories with twists within twists. Other times he liked comedy. That didn’t always work out like with the ridiculous character Achebe. Both of those traits are presented in this collection.Complete Collection Volume 3 starts with a mish mash of stories. First there’s a story in the future when T’Challa is old and almost retired. Then Queen takes off with the Hulk. Finally Colleen Wing, Nightshade, Iron First, and a Chinese dragon for good measure all get caught up in a scheme by Mephisto.The main story is about the 1970s Jack Kirby version of the Panther being brought back to life. He and the present Panther and company hunt down King Solomon’s frogs, which was originally used in the 1970s by Kirby. This is all linked to a coup attempt in the United States. This highlights Priest’s deep plots and twists with some irreverence for good measure.The story doesn't stop there as everyone is thrown back into time to the Wild West by the frogs where they meet Thor and Loki battling each other.All together you get some of the best of the best of Priest’s writing, along with some of his big misses. It’s still a blast to read most of it, and the art is mostly top notch with a few exceptions.

With the movie coming out in 2018 I decided to get my son caught up on the story line. Love the fact that all of the comics are in one book so I don't have to worry about him losing books. Well constructed and easy to read.

love this character attempting to purchase individual issues now before movie comes out in 2 years, damn have every action figure avaialble! favorite superhero hands down, the black batman!

Priest's panther is the best solo panther book ever. This is good, but not as good as vol 1. The series lost some steam at this point.
