Sufi Meditation (Lights of Wisdom Series, No. 1)

This is the great teacher and mystic Lex Hixon laying out the most subtle truths of non-dual realization in accessible and beautiful language. This is one of those books that imparts the transmission of the words. If you are Sufi or a serious student of any of the esoteric traditions, buy this book.

Fascinating little book. What it is not - it is not a structured treatise on Sufi Meditation, it does not explain how to meditate. What it might be - is an example of a reflection on the process.First a word about the author Lex Hixon is a North American writer and journalist who also uses the name Nur Al-Jerrah. He says his Sheikh is Muzaffer al Jerrahi.The book reflects a meeting of the Noetic Science Association of New York City which was held at the Masjid al-Farah (a Mosque) in NYC. Attending and acting as speaker was Lex Hixon, the book is a note of what was said which was taped and transcribed.There is a question and answer format.Fascinating, yes. Authentic you will have to judge. It is only 58 pages.
